Release Date: 3rd February 2017

Herorn Nani is on track to score a Double Hat-trick after five back-to-back rnhits. So, One can understand how crucial the Box Office result of 'Nenu rnLocal' is going to be for him. Director Trinadha Rao of 'Cinema rnChoopista Mama' fame & Producer Dil Raju joined hands for this rnfull-filled entertainer. Pairing of Nani & Keerthy Suresh generated rntremendous buzz already. Has 'Nenu Local' met the expectations?

Synopsis:

Baburn (Nani), an aimless youth, falls in love with Keerthy (Keerthy Suresh) rnand succeeds in winning her heart after many trails. Just when Keerthy rnwas planning to express her love,  Inspector Siddharth (Naveen Chandra) rnenters the scene as the Groom selected by her Dad (Sachin Khadekar) to rnmarry her. How does Babu convince Keerthy's Dad that he is the soulmate rnof his Daughter forms the rest of the tale!

Performances:

Whatrn can be say about Nani's Performance? Once again, He stood as a huge rnasset and the range of the movie increased with his mere presence. rnParticularly, He excelled in the Climax block. At times, Over-confidencern could be noticed in his dialogue delivery. That's the only noticeable rnflaw.

Keerthy Suresh appears chubby but impresses big time withrn her expressive face. Once again, She does the role of a traditional rngirl and comes out with flying colors.

Naveen Chandra does a finern job. Director could have etched his role in a much better way. The samern can be said about Sachin Khadekar. Although he performed well, This rncharacter wasn't something he should have done. Posani, Eshwari Rao rn& Tulasi did complete justice to their roles.

Pros:

Lead Pair

Comedy

Screenplay

Cons:

Routine Story

Predictable & Illogical Scenes

Technicalities:

Couplern of songs composed by Devi Sri Prasad were trendy. 'Next Enti' & rn'Ekkada Ekkada' stand out in the album. Rest of the tunes were just rnokay. Background Score is good but nothing special. Nizar Shafi's Camerarn Work is colorful. Dialogues were entertaining. Production Values are uprn to the standards of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Director Trinadha Rao rnpicked up a routine subject but ensured the Screenplay is racy enough. rnHe obtained the best possible output from his Team. Youth & Masses rnwere targeted by him with 'Nenu Local'.

Analysis:

'Stoprn searching for Logic' - That's the first thing one has to do while rnstepping into the theaters of 'Nenu Local'. Why because, One can't enjoyrn the movie as long as he/she starts pointing out the illogical scenes. rnHero wanders aimlessly after completion of B.Tech until he comes across arn traditional girl Keerthy and falls in love. Thereafter, He starts rnwooing her, joins the same college and even his parents backs his rndecision. When the Heroine asks him to convince her Father first to rnmarry her, Hero makes it clear he won't change his lifestyle/mindset forrn anyone and continues to be irresponsible. In the end, Some how everyonern gets convinced by his approach and that's all about this entertainer.

Otherrn aspect to keep in mind - Don't search for freshness in 'Nenu Local'. Wern has seen films made with similar story aplenty till date. Although the rnstory is age old, Racy Screenplay makes 'Nenu Local' worth a watch. rnDialogues were well-written. They were very entertaining and the commandrn of the Director on comedy is clearly visible.

What works for rn'Nenu Local' is the chemistry of Lead Pair & their performances. rnWhile Nani entertains with his trademark comic timing, Keerthy Suresh rnwins hearts with her cute expressions. Had if better care was taken for rnroles of Naveen Chandra and Sachin Khadekar, The end result could have rnbeen lot better.

Its Nani's Show in the First Half. Apart from rnYouth, Even Masses were targeted this time with scenes elevating rnHeroism. Love Track of lead pair in First Half has come out well. Scenesrn of Nani & Keerthy Suresh remain as a highlight even in the Second rnHalf. Climax stood as a major attraction. Nani steals the show here withrn his dialogue delivery & performance. Overall, 'Nenu Local' is a rntime-pass fare.

Bottom Line: A Pop-Corn Entertainer!
