TV actress Shruti Ulfat was taken into custody by the Thane Forest Department in Mumbai yesterday for posing with a cobra and online sharing of photos / videos. However, she was on a bail bond of Rs 5,000 awarded after being produced before the court.

Actually, Shruti shared the photos and videos of themselves posing with a fearless Cobra on Instagram and Twitter last October while filming for TV series' Nagarjuna - Ek yodha. These posts went viral and netizens began to show praised the actress for her courageous attempt.

Wildlife activists, on the other hand, the act was reprehensible. They accused Shruti Ulfat of trying to earn a good return using the endangered species. But Shruti Lawyer Sunny Punamiya maintained Shruti has just done to promote her TV series on social media.
