According to reported information, he is already in talks for the Telugu remake of the hit film "96" Tamil, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha. Rana is also in talks with director Venu Udugula. On the other hand, Rana has already given his dates of January 2019 to director Gunashekar for a drama of mythology. The film is ready to be released on the occasion of Sankranthi next year. Gunashekar will partner with Suresh Productions to fund this project. The budget of the film is estimated at 60 crores. Rana will play an interesting role in the film. Considered a mythological drama, Rana will play the role of the demon king Hiranyakashyapa in the film.

The film will be released in Telugu Tamil and Hindi. The pre-production work is underway and Rana is also looking for some medium-budget love stories, as the mythological drama takes two years to complete.
