According to the reports, Jayalalitha's niece, J Deepa, filed an application in the Madras High Court. The civil suit states that AL Vijay and Goutham Vausev Menon have been notified because they have not yet acquired the rights to Jayalalitha's story. Deepa said these films were part of her family's privacy.
The Madras High Court sent a notice to both directors and asked to answer this question by 14 November. Vishnu Induri, who will direct the film 'Thalaivi', said he had acquired the rights of his family, and that it had been composed.
